Make a prediction.
Follow the evidence.

Ten virtual investigations turn a model into a dataset you can question. Change one factor, collect reproducible trials, compare the evidence and explain what the model can tell you.

Every observation here is synthetic model data. These tools support scientific reasoning and do not replace practical investigations or provide health advice.

Choose an investigation

Take the same method into a topic simulation

Use these guided missions with existing HSCScience models. Write a prediction first, hold the other factors constant, record at least three settings and use the results to explain a relationship.

Photosynthesis: find the limiting factor

Predict when increasing light will stop increasing the rate. Keep temperature constant, compare low and high carbon dioxide, then explain why the limiting factor changes.

Collisions: test a conservation claim

Predict both final velocities. Record total momentum before and after three collisions. Compare momentum conservation with kinetic-energy conservation and identify the model's collision assumptions.

Open the momentum model →

Circuits: change one branch

Predict the effect of changing one resistance in series and parallel. Compare source current and each branch's readings, then explain the pattern using the circuit arrangement.

Calorimetry: audit an energy estimate

Predict how water mass changes the temperature rise for a fixed energy input. Record three masses, calculate mcΔT, and identify which losses the model includes.
