Malaria Lifecycle Tracer
Step 1 of 5
Liver Mosquito Human Mosquito Sporozoites Merozoites Gametocytes
Step 1 — Mosquito Infection
An infected female Anopheles mosquito bites a human and injects Plasmodium sporozoites into the bloodstream.
This is the only natural route of human infection. Sporozoites are the infective stage carried in mosquito salivary glands.
What stage does the mosquito inject into the human?
Task: Trace the malaria lifecycle from mosquito to human and back. Identify each stage correctly to unlock the next one.
Tip: Mosquito → Liver → Blood → Gametocytes → Mosquito. Each stage is a target for different interventions. Press R to restart.
