The Year 11 course is built from two focus areas of 40 indicative hours each, a 20-hour Collaborative Investigation and 20 hours of depth studies. The depth-study hours are drawn from inside the two focus areas rather than added beside them. Content is integrated across the course rather than taught as isolated units.
